I really like that you have glass in the bottom. It adds a classy touch!!

I guess I missed the part that said you were hanging it on the wall. Will wine storage go underneath?
Be well,
Ben

Great work Forrest! And it even eerily looks like the Sketchup drawing ;-)

Ben, the unit hangs on a French cleat so fasteners don't show. What with the weather in SoCal getting warmer, we might pop for a temp controlled unit underneath to store wine. Right now that area is sort of reserved for the foldout table I made for our grandchildren - and YES! they are coming this summer from South Carolina.
Bill, if you want one I will email the SketchUp file - or anyone else. The pic I showed was for a larger version, but it stuck out way too far. The file reflects that change. Unless my Inspiration opts for huge glasses, it will hold 36. Right now there are 24 in it with room for 12 more.
Genuine mahogany colored with Lockwood water soluble dye, No. 45, cut way down and 3 coats of spray satin polyurethane.
The choice of glass is my big mistake: I used ¼ should have used ⅛ 'cause that puppy is heavy!

Very nice cabinet, Forrest!:D I would probably copy your plans if I could drink American wine. Too allergic to the sulfite used as a preservative.
But at least I can enjoy looking at your work! Here's a toast to you and yours:D
ATTA BOY FORREST! Happy Woodworking!
