Just a word to the wise.

When building something for SWMBO, prepare a work request that contains all of the critical information (dimensions, etc).

What was stated during those early discussions WILL become important before you make "final delivery".

I am working on a new "work table" for her craft/arts area. The dimensions for the table top have changed at least a couple times. The final dimensional cuts will be made this week end. Wish me luck.

Dusty, you may be attemting to change the natural order of the universe, by denying a woman's prerogative to change her mind!

The male house wren builds several nests, and the female chooses which nest she prefers. If you were a good hubby ...

Ya know, I said that in jest ... I have the exact same problem with proposed enhancements to my wife's scrapbook room. But it just occurred to me that it might actually be practical to show SWMBO multiple options in the virtual world. Sketchup to the rescue!

I look at it this way. It's just more shop time. Who doesn't mind that?

You really know how to get hurt. All I would have to do is wave the work order in front of my wife after she had changed her mind 20 times to get into real trouble.
In fact the work order might even end up where the sun doesn't shine.

No I have found that when building anything with my wife I need to keep her actively involved in the process. So she can preapprove every step I make.

I'm a month shy of 49 wonderful years of bliss with my wife and if I learned anything it is never to produce any evidence that shows she has changed her mind a dozen times or that the final dimensions she has given me weren't the same at the initial.:D
