Good looking hutch. Did ya use the raw wood or distress it yourself?

I noticed the chicken wire instead of glass. Is that a pie cooling hutch?
If so, I want a pie.:D

I think it is a chicken hutch(for laying eggs).;)

Not intended as a putdown!!! :)

Tis consistent with the 'rustic' theme intended.

Bill, if my memory serves me, (and, it should, because I just bought some 4 GB sticks!) pie safes came with a punched-out piece of tin, as a door screen. Guys would lay out a design on the piece of tin, and go to work with a awl, over a soft piece of wood. Second to that, was chicken wire.

Paul, some real good looking work, and even better because you re-used the wood.

Paul, is that a Model 10 I see in your shop? Looks like the headrest for a swing-down jointer.
