Finally. This is great news.

However, I just went to facebook/shopsmith and found two or three groups already there. Which one is the official site (or am I confused)?

Maybe you have not yet created "the group"??

To Admin;
Not trying to be picky, but is "hushtag" a typo? I am not on any of the Social Media sites but I am slowly being cornered into joining at least one.
As I tell people, " I don't text, I don't face and I don't twit". Looks I may have to change.

Wondering the same thing. I wound up part of something called Shopsmith Abrasives (some while back) after being mysteriously booted out of a closed fb SS group (or whatever those members only fb covens are called).

Sorry, Admin! Would like to help, but so far I have never been on ANY social media site. I need to have more information on how to join and how to follow/ post.

:confused: More and more Facebook is developing a mind of its own, and inserting things IT thinks I will be interested in, IT is usually wrong. Thus, I have begun to attempt to block many of the sites and sites associated with acquaintances, not necessarily family and friends. I have not entered the world of tweets and # and etc. Guess I'm just an old fashioned guy who tries to relax in the shop, and sits by the computer to relax.
Hope your adventure into the "Clouds" is successful.

Like to help, but...

I guess I'm just a grumpy old man: I do not use and do not want to use 'social media.'

But I do wish you the best of outcomes.:)

But isn't this forum part of the "social media".

I’d say so. Though it isn’t anywhere near as invasive as fb, aol, and just about every large-scale retailer in the nation.

I think you need to post links the the official site. I find six Shopsmith groups on Google Plus. One that I have been following for a long time has nothing in it.

I found the facebook pages OK.
