Shopsmith Mark V Reference DVD's opinion ? Does anyone have them and are they worth it ? Just trying to get a feel. I assume they are but want to confirm. Thanks

I have the DVDs and I think they are worth the money.

I have a portable DVD player. So, when I am tearing into the headstock, to do maintenance, it is handy to view the procedure before doing the maintenance. Also, if I am questioning what I am doing, I can replay the procedure.

The DVDs provide me faster access to the Sawdust sessions than my internet access.

I would hope that they are a better resolution than the Youtubes... Those look like old VHS tapes that are degrading! Still, they're up there free of charge...

The 'Youtubes' were originally produced at low res so they would 'download' over slow internet connections.
