In Rick Davis's DVD on maintenance and alignment, he mentioned a very simple procedure on adjusting the speed dial on the slow setting. I had followed his steps and I was satisfied with the dial finally stopping at slow. Last weekend when I was cleaning out the inside of the headstock and I ran the speed dial up to the fast setting the dial moved the same distance past the "fast" setting as it did when the speed dial went past the slow setting. I am wondering if I had missed something. I would appreciate any ideas you might have.
