Just finished watching Jeapordy and a contestant got credit fo a wrong answer.
The answer in the "shopclass" category was "The device that Stephen Glass invented that is found in the shop" and the contestant answered " the saw" and she was ruled correct. Sorry clue crew. Mr Glass invented the Saw Stop not the saw. Two completely different items.

Yeah, they're not always fully correct on everything!
Alex T can pronounce a lot of languages, but sometimes he applies too much effort... throwing in a "through-clearing khh" in certain Arabic and Persian words that just have an "h".
My wife sometimes gets a kick out of that. I had made this for her some years ago.... honoring the 'old country':

I watched the same show, and made the same metal note. It should have been 'saw stop'. Now, who invented the circular saw blade? - which would have been a better question. The Shakers - good for $2000 Double Jeopardy bucks.

At least half the answers they give are wrong......well, they don't agree with mine, anyway.

Makes sense to me, Ed.
Girls have always been MY favorite toy.
(Sorry, couldn't resist.)

But of course it had to be! Men were quite satisfied with reciprocating saws.
Now the distaff side has no problem with circular logic, so why not a saw also.
