Making A Storm Door part 2

To strengthen the coped joints at the ends of the frame I added a dowel about 2-1/2" long. Here is my dowel jig, an old Stanley #59 fitted for 1/4" dowel guide to drill the holes.

The door was tapped and primed with white latex paint after calking. Then finished in it's final color.

Here is the door mounted on the north side of my machine shed. The medallion was painted red to match the siding.
