Outfeed Table

I passed a garage sale yesterday, and a shopsmith box leaning against a table caught my eye. Returning, I found a new outfeed table still in the box. The lady said it was delivered to her home a year ago. She didn’t order it. She didn’t even know what it was. Nobody ever came to claim it, so she set it out to sell. I noticed that it was for the 510. I stood for a moment looking at it, wondering if I could adapt it for my M7. She must have thought I was hesitant over the $10 price tag because she offered to let it go for $5. I am blessed with amazing negotiating skills.
Anyway, now I have to make it fit my M7. Excuse the mess. My shop isn't finished yet, so my SS stuff is in the garage until next week.

It fits perfectly widthwise.

But, it’s about 1 5/8” low.

My first thought is to add a 1 5/8” block on each side between the mount and the table. Naturally, I will need to get 4 appropriate length bolts.

What do you think? Is that the best approach?
