A close call

When I think of the statistical odds of this NOT being a big mess, I can only conclude that the Big Guy upstairs is watching out for me for some unknown reason I don't deserve.
I was supposed to get the tires changed yesterday(I always wait too long and one was losing air) but the family and I got out of the county fair too late. The only place open on Sundays is a last resort because of service quality but I needed the truck for obvious reasons. I always keep my tires to turn into tomato planters but usually lay them flat and I don't know why I didn't this time. This didn't happen till the last 50 feet of a 20 mile or so trip through country roads, when my drive turns sharply right and uphill.

I didn't even feel a bump. zero damage.

Here's my official, public Thank You to the Big Guy!!
