It would be neat if it could ride on the bench tubes!

So with the SS duplicator, you would just need an angle grinder holder and follower, with an appropriate blade? Interesting!

Your angle grinder idea works OK but not great. Ive done it on my SS.
There realy are not a lot of advantages over the SS one. the grinder only cuts somewhat faster but the cut quality is lacking. but if the grinder road in/on bearings and then had a drive cable like the Viel... then ... maybe. it looks good on the videos.

My advice is a free floating grinder duplicator just dose not offer a lot of advantages over the SS duplicator. And is more dangerous .

for me Im always looking for a better way... this Viel duplicator looks to offer something . Just wanted to shire my ideas, and hopefully someone else out there has already tried it.
Have a good night.
