A while back MickyD had this idea for a thread that was for/about anything.
Perhaps it is time to resume doing that.
Gotta be better that the recent past.
I suggest keeping politics out.

And, to change that subject, just a tiny bit, I used to know a guy who made Sweet Potato pie, and he "kicked it up a notch" with Jim Beam.
Good pie!

I love this time a year. I'm a pumpkin flavor fanatic. I'm not a regular coffee drinker except for when I have pumpkin spice coffee creamer available. Then I'll drink several cups a day. I'm munching on some pumpkin and chocolate chip cookies right now. A Pumpkin Pie Blizzard from Dairy Queen is heaven in a paper cup. Pumpkin Pie Pop Tarts are incredible (for Pop Tarts). For breakfast I had pumpkin waffles! I go through pumpkin pies as fast as my wife can make them.

Heath,
I think you might have a problem, have you considers counseling. Just kidding; but your post made me laugh.

Denny's has a new menu out this week that has a slam with pumpkin pancakes... Pretty good stuff but not exactly on my diet list.
I do get sugar-free syrup with it.

You do have to ask for the sugar free syrup, it is also quite good.
