Shadow Box Project

Here's a project I did recently using my SS for my neighbor who retired from the Marine Corps Reserve. I used oak and a standard glass pane from a local craft store. The ends of the box are finished with rabbet joint and I routed a slot on the front for the glass pane and routed a slot to allow room for the back to fit in. My wife assisted with the felt/foam backing so my neighbor can add his medals and awards. Comments welcome.

Finished another shadow box for a good friend who just retired from the Army. I used red oak.

Thanks Roopurt and kudos to you on your blog. Your story of acquiring a Shop Smith is similar to mine. I have not upgraded my table yet, but I have acquired a lot of SPTs and like to read the posting on here.
