Hi,I have had my 510 for over 13 years and never had a problem until today .
I switched on as usual but nothing happened. I had disconnected the switch but did not mark the wires, so am a bit confused as to what wire goes where on the switch .Does any one have a diagram or know which wire goes on which pin of the switch.Cheers Bugsy.

If you have the plastic switch rather than a metal toggle - simply take off the two wires from the one side and connect them to the other side of the switch. Then order a replacement switch because the present one will probably wear out in a few more years.

Not sure I'm doing this correctly, I'm new to this site. I have just stripped my headstock and I photographed the switch from inside trouble is I have no idea how to upload the photo so I'll give you a quick description. from the motor you have 4 wires 2 with right angle connectors and 2 with straight connectors. The switch has 4 wires 2 top and 2 bottom. connect the 2 angled connectors to the top switch wires (white to white, Blue to Black). The 2 straight connectors to the bottom switch wires (green to white, brown to Black. Mine is a plastic switch with a removable toggle.
