PM Apologies

To anyone who has sent me a PM prior to today and didn't receive a response — thinking that simply writing and hitting "send" doesn't always get the message sent without including the recipient's name. Which, until tonight, I'd often failed to do.
However, despite the fact that all PMs were read and the content fully considered, I'm far too lazy to reconstruct any of my lapsed responses.
Instead, I offer this blanket apology. I hope it will suffice.

Well no wonder you didn't respond to my generous offer. Sorry, I thought you weren't interested so I moved on the the second person on my list and he took me up on the offer.

Well, live and learn.
Fortunately yourself and other good-hearted Smithies will likely provide many offers to snare my interest for years to come.
My hopeful ER dreams thus persist.
I'll just remember to follow instructions next time.
