This website I mean!!! Early Sat I had difficulty accessing the page but it did come up after about three minutes. Thereafter it would not come up at all and IE kept displaying that it could not display the page. This condition persisted for the past two days. Oh well I guess everyone has a few server problems these days.

It stopped sometime yesterday and came back tonight. Even shopsmith.com was 'off-the-air.' I tried asking on 2 other woodworking site, but got no answers. Fortunately, a well-respected member of this forum did email that he had the same problem, so I knew it was not my ISP.
Now that you asked, I expect ADMIN will enlighten us as to what happened.

Yes both sites were down. To verify it wasn't just my ISP, I plugged both addresses into the "Down For Everyone Or Just Me" site.

Hopefully it WASN'T HIS problem, but their services. Because it was down for about 20 hours.

This was the longest disruption I can recall to the site. Being that Shopsmith is such a small almost boutique company these days, I hate to admit I did fear the worst. Glad it was just a website problem and not a corporate closure!

Just system problems.
The web server was completely locked up, but on both reboots Saturday it appeared fine for a period of time.
Between not being able to see what was happening when it was fully locked up and no problems appearing initially after the reboot nor in the logs, my first guesses on the cause were wrong.
Corrections after the Sunday afternoon reboot solved the real issue.
