jointer alignment infeed table adjustment?

I've search and found some info on adjusting the infeed tale to align with the out feed. Can someone post a couple pictures of place or places that the shims can go or where you adjust these things?Looking at mine I don't see any adjustment areas.Thanks
FYI: my infeed table is about 1/16" low at the end away from the cutter and I'm not getting contact at the end of my boards.

I would be interested to see that info that you 'discovered' to determine if it applies to the SS jointer. At this time, sight unseen, I think not!

i searched here for Jointer alignment and found a couple.I may be wrong but I thought some have said you can get some adjustment on the in feed table.

The SS jointer has v shaped ridges on one half that inverted v shaped surfaces slide on to allow motion between the two parts. They are not adjustable and IMHO not 'shimable'. Selective grinding/filing perhaps. Not easily done successfully without a machine shop.
Are we sure that the back end droops as suggested? What does a straight edge reveal?

Like i said.The near end of the in feed table is about 1/16" lower and jointed boards lose contact toward the final end consistently.do washers placed a specific way on the adjustment knob effect alignment?

Can ya post a pic of the jointer tables with a straight edge across both of them?

The infeed table adjustment (actually the depth of cut adjustment) functions like a pair of wedges where one wedge is fixed in position and the other wedge slides up and down to adjust the height.
Therefore, if the wedges are smooth, the table will remain in the same plane while that plane is moved up and down.
About the only way you could shim it so as to change the cut would be to use the jointer for a fixed depth of cut and then shim to correct the cut. Once shimmed, the depth of cut would be what ever it is.
However, please do as beeg suggested. Send some pictures so that we can be certain that we are talking about the same issue.

No.
A pix with a straight edge from the front end of the infeed table to the far end of the outfeed table will help us understand that 1/16".
What we will be looking for is that the cutter ends of both tables are at the same 'height'.
Have you had the two tables separated so you can see the sliding surfaces? There may be a burr or something else(crud buildup?) that prevents proper contact of the sliding surfaces.

Understood.i'll take apart and inspect again.the two tables should be parrellel correct?The cutter head end of the infeed table is 1/16higher than the feed end.It's sagging at the near end ,so to speak.When I bring the two tables to the same height the cutter end od the infeed is the same as the out feed table the near end of the infeed table is low.I don't think it should be,should it?

Nope!
The two tables need to be 'coplaner'. That is, all points on the top surface of both tables should be in a common plane when the heights are the same. When adjusted for depth of cut, the infeed table drops to a plane below the outfeed table plane, but parallel to it again at all points.
That is, a straight edge should rest on the top surface the entire distance from the rear end of the outfeed table to the front end of the infeed table, and should do so at any angle from opposite corners.
