I would guess a hollow ground blade took it's place.

When I first tried out the blades that came with my unused, mid-1990s SS510, I found that the carbide combination blade cut plywood cleaner and faster than the plywood blade did. Perhaps it was my lack of experience.

The only plywood blade (555192) that I am aware of is the old steel blade (no carbide). It is no longer listed in the online catalog.wrmnfzy wrote:Whatever happened to the plywood saw blade SS use to sell?
An inexpensive blade from the big orange box store has likely taken its' place.

Yep, I remember it didn't last too long and I have had success with the hollow ground blades.
