This may be a timing coincidence and may not have anything to do with the new website but for the last couple days may email is flooded with notifications about postings on the website. Confused but not yet irritated..

"Notify me on new private messages:" check NO for this in control panel/preferences.

The next time I get an email notification from here, will be my first. And, that is from the new program, as well as the last one.
Have ALWAYS had notifications ON, too.
Sorry for the thread-jack, but it pertains. Does anyone know how to re-activate our Sigs?

A couple places for you to check.
First, are you subscribed to any threads? I think you get email notifications when there are postings to threads you subscribe to. You can manage your subscriptions by going to User Control Panel -> Overview -> Manage Subscriptions. (You become subscribed to a thread if, when posting a message, you check the option "Notify me when a reply is posted" or when just viewing a thread you click the "Subscribe topic" link.)
There's also an option to automatically subscribe to all threads you post to. Go to User Control Panel -> Edit Posting Defaults -> then the "Notify me upon replies by default" option. Setting that to Yes will subscribe you to a thread if you start it or post a reply to it. Setting it to no will, obviously, not do that.

Thanks Heath. I was subscribed to what looked to be everything that I ever clicked on. Now I gotta go clean out my email in Outlook.
