I don't know when this changed. But I just noticed that SS is promoting Minwax now. I'm wondering if this change is just a benefit to SS, or is Minwax in some way better than JPW.

I don't know about Shopsmith but I still use Johnsons Paste Wax and always will. It has served my purposes for many, many years now and I'm sticking to it. I keep an extra can on hand just in case. What I have on hand now should last me until I wax no more.

I agree. I'm not about to abandon JPW just because SS has. But I would consider changing to Minwax if it was substantially better in some way. That's why I asked.

Dusty's ginormous photo has messed up word wrap on my monitor.

Back when the wide pix were scaling to the screen, the word
wrap followed suit(correctly). I assume since that has been
reverted back, that it caused the problem a couple of days ago and Admin did so since he had not time to fix it properly. I have faith
it will all be resolved eventually.

Are you referring to the image of JPW?

If so, it is only 300 x 300 pixels.

I'll edit it out if that would help.

Yes, Dusty,I am referring to the JPW image. No, don't edit it. Maybe it will help Admin figure out what is going on. For such a modestly sized imaged (based on the number of pixels), it is occupying a huge amount of screen space and mucking up word wrap.
