Advice is needed. I am looking for shipper suggestions regarding who can pickup, ship and deliver a Sawsmith2000 table saw from the Chicago area to east-central Kansas? What might the shipping weight of a Sawsmith2000 be?
What other considerations might there be? Thanks for any help.

Heavy and bulky. I am afraid to make any recommendations other than to say if I was doing it I would dismantle it as far as I could and pack/ship the individual pieces. Items like that, packed by anyone other than a professional shipper, is in danger of being damaged.
That is somewhere around 700-800 miles (one way). Maybe you need to plan a vacation and take it there yourself.

Check with line haul/trucking companies, you should get a better rate than a courier service like UPS or Fedex.
