Switch for reversing motor question

I'm looking into setting up a 510 to reverse.
Can I use an Allen Bradley switch 800T-H2A to control the fwd/rev?
If not does anyone know which Allen Bradley switch I should use?

Step one:
Obtain a reversible motor.
A 'stock' 510 motor is not reversible without modification.
An Emerson motor is essentially not possible.

I use a DPDT 20 amp motor rated switch 7300002 from Del City, $7.21 for one plus shipping for the FWD/REV switching. I also use their DPST 20 Amp motor rated switch 7300001, $6.50 for the ON/OFF switch replacement.
I find I can only reverse the AO Smith and GE 1 1/8 HP motors, not any of the Emerson motors. You can contact me off-line if you have more motor reversing questions.

I'm going to be switching an emerson for a GE, to accomplish this.

And THANKS Bill, for the info on the DPDT switch and I will be contacting you I'm getting ready for my annual trip to Daytona and would like to stop by again and spend some time with you (maybe a project to reverse a GE motor while I'm down there
I realize that the A/B switch is more $ but:
Can I use an Allen Bradley switch 800T-H2A to control the fwd/rev?

Maybe! You need DPDT , so you would need to stack two "1NO,1NC" to obtain a DPDT equivalent.
Do realize the switch only affects the run direction at
startup. Switching the position while running will have no effect. It will not reverse run direction while running.

I remember reading about that. THANKS for this bit of info. I thought I needed a 1NO,1NC type but was not sure, thanks for confirming my research. Fron the specs I read, with my very limited EE knowledge, I believe to 800T-H2A would work.
While the DPDT will work, my thinking was a A/B type switch would look cool, which is the major reason for investigating and wanting to install one.

I have a GE motor to reverse if you can stop by when you are down my way. I will save it for that time. I find I have to always use all new motor wires on each GE motor as the wire insulation will have been broken off in places.

Hi All,
I am restoring an 1981 Shopsmith Mark V into a Shorty to drive my Jointer and Bandsaw. I need a litle help to make the motor reversible so I can leave the Bandsaw on the quill side of the motor. I have an AO Smith motor but the wiring doesn't look to me to be same as I've seen in the diagrams.
There are Blue and White wires coming down from the switch and Red and White wires going to the capacitor. I didn't do anything with the centrifugal switch to see what's behind it. Can you help me make sense of identifying the starting coil and running coil wires and which I'd have to switch to make it reversible? Below are some pictures of the unit.
