Rebuilding Sawsmith YUBA 7000
I hope if it's okay to start a thread to asked my questions.

My dad had this for over 30 years and it hasn't been used in all that time.
The cabinet was bent and wouldn't stand up correctly a few braces and DW40 for the canisters, lifting mechanism and it rolls like a dream.

I promise I'll post more pictures of what it looks like and as I proceed. I do have lots of questions.

First up is the cracked wires going into the motor what to do and how easy to replace these wires? Also the coiled wire on the arm has broken to pieces.
Whats your suggestions.
I don't want to plug it in till I know it's a go. Probably take it to electric motor shop.

DO NOT use the wires. Cracked insulation is a real hazard. If you are uncomfortable replacing the wires going to the inside of the motor take the motor to a reputable electric motor shop. It will be a piece of cake for them.

Thanks Bill I think I'll do that. Electricity don't bother never messed with a motor.
Any one know a replacement coiled wire on the arm.
