Anyone have any info/thoughts on a Shopsmith 2000 Table Saw? What they might be worth in excellent condition? What are the drawbacks?

A few of us have one... I have the Ultra model with the Excalibur fence and 79" rails along with a second set of 48" rails that stay on most of the time. As mentioned, no parts available from SS, occasionally an arbor or a blade guard will come up on eBay (I bought both of each the last time they came up) . Excellent condition for me would be having the other table inserts and the arbors for the dado. I also picked up a spare motor off eBay as a precaution a couple of years ago. It's a pretty good saw once aligned properly and with a good blade (I run a WoodWorker II) but is really has more value to a SS collector like some of us are.r_mack1969 wrote:Anyone have any info/thoughts on a Shopsmith 2000 Table Saw?
