Is it just me?

When I login, I always check the box to log in automatically, but it never works.

In fact, If I am not continually active, I am booted and have to log back in. So if I open a new tab to check out a link posted by a member, when I return to the forum tab, I find I have been booted, and have to log back in.

BTW, I am using MS Windows 7, and internet Explorer.

I have been booted once or twice but generally it keeps me signed in.

This is from the frequently asked questions section.

Why do I get logged off automatically?
If you do not check the Log me in automatically box when you login, the board will only keep you logged in for a preset time. This prevents misuse of your account by anyone else. To stay logged in, check the box during login. This is not recommended if you access the board from a shared computer, e.g. library, internet cafe, university computer lab, etc. If you do not see this checkbox, it means the board administrator has disabled this feature.

Do you have "cookies" enabled in your browser?

Cookies are enabled. But there is an unticked box for Always allow session cookies, so I ticked it. Maybe that will help.

If that didn't work. You could go to the bottom of this page and "delete all board cookies". As a start over type condition.

That seems to have done the trick. :)
