I know it's not to everyone's tastes but here it is.This table was built using a couple circa 1850 porch posts and some reclaimed barn wood from a barn built in 1906.I purposely did a minimal amount of staining and finishing to show case the old wood.
i was going for the "We found this old table in a barn .We cleaned it up and just couldn't bring ourselves to pain or stain the great old piece" look. Thanks

That weathered snow effect is awesome. How in the world did you pull that off?

Very nice job. This would look nice on an enclosed porch or other spots where "old" looking is appropriate.

No market for snow here. We have much more here than we need already.

So, the legs are made from TWO columns(2 tops, 2 bottoms)? :)

To each their own, but, I like it! Reminds me of myself. :D

Old and scarred, but with much utility left(I hope!).

Another great save, Paul. I really like it.

I'll pass on the snow. We just got 2" and it's melting before I can get it canned.

Nice work on entire project. I like the legs being different. I certainly did not notice they were different until I read on.
