Retractable casters

Anybody out there have a parts diagram for the retractable casters? I need part numbers if possible. I just finished doing a double tilt upgrade on my 520 (easy BTW)and wanted to do the premium caster upgrade at the same time. The rods on the retracting caster are extremely pitted with rust. I would like to install new ones from the mother ship if possible. I would just like to call w/part #'s in hand if possible. Thanks

Take them apart one at a time, and take notes/pix as you take it apart. Those things are a Chinese puzzle if you don't especially if you have two sets of parts at the same time. Also mark the connecting rod ends and ens castings so they can be reassembled 'as found'.(they are drilled at the factory as an assembly and will likely vary.

With a rusted shaft, removing the cams will not be easy. Since you are replacing the shafts, clean the rust from the ends of the rod. I will add a link to a 'reassembly' thread after I 'locate' it.

Thanks Joe for the diagram, that helps alot. I have already searched for posts on this subject and came up with many. So I am aware of the pitfalls involved. I do plan to use careful documentation during disassembly.

Again..thanks!

It may not be true for MK V casters (I have never taken them apart) but on 10ER casters the cams are drilled for the roll pins apparently individually and vary from end to end. If you don't mark the rods and which end each cam came from you will probably not be able to reinstall the roll pins.
