Just tried to get on E-Bay to all the SS stuff and I can't get pictures to load. I have to click on the listing to get a pic. Graigs list works OK though.

seems OK now. I have been getting a lot of strange stuff here lately. Now if I could get IE to stop crashing and recovering web pages things would go a lot more smoothly.

Stop using IE, it is crap. Use Firefox, it is excellent and free and continuously updated. Just a few days ago it came out that Microsoft is dumping IE because Firefox, Chrome and Safari are killing them. Of course if they can't figure out how to fix IE it remains to be seen if they can write a new browser that is any better. Then again it may be that IE is so truly screwed up that it is easier to start over.

There are thousands of third party addons for FF that let you do things that are not built in. Since the code is open source anybody can write addons.

Try it you will like it. :D

I use Firefox but I use very few of the addons. Why? Because they are open source. Anyone can write addons!

Well, FF it self is open source so does that mean you won't use it? I used Linux for a long time, open source, OS and never had a virus problem. The guys that write virus software have no interest in open code, they want to crack proprietary software. This is what they do and get a high when they succeed.

No. I think I have already said that I use FireFox. I use FireFox because it works for me. My needs are simple and are satisfied.

I used to write code but that is a very time consuming process. I don't have enough time left in my day now to do those things that I enjoy doing. Why do I want to tinker with addons. Especially someone elses. The addons that I do use are there because they do something that I want/need.

I use very few addons myself just like you. Only the ones that tweak something or do something that I think needs tweaked or done. :) My point on saying FF has thousands of addons was just that if you want it to do something it doesn't do out of the box there is probably already an addon for it.

Microsoft is developing a completely new browser. They have given up on IE, as it is hopelessly caught up in Microsoft's proprietary past. I believe their new browser is supposed to heed the standards that other browsers heed to. So, if you are a Microsoft person you can wait for the new browser or switch to FF or Chrome for better results now. (I am a Mac person and find Safari to be fine.)
