Hello everyone. I’m new to the forum and to Shopsmith. I have my new Mark 7 on order and it will be here in four to six weeks. I have individual machines currently but am looking to gain more space in my garage. Plus I like the accuracy I’m seeing compared to my cheap machines. Can’t wait to get started and learning from everyone on this forum.

"Plus I like the accuracy I’m seeing compared to my cheap machines".

I like this comment. Not everyone claims that accuracy is a Shopsmith virtual. I swear by mine. When I get inaccurate cuts, I find (almost always) that I screwed up.

I frequently fail to take into account the kerf. You must pay attention to which side of the blade the work piece located.
