Tontine Cabinet Part 3

Since the doors are to hold Unit patches and two plaques (all in wood) I once again ran long double dowels into the corners of the styles and rails.
This picture shows the nice figure in the quarter sawn oak and dowels before cut off. I cut a 3/8" recess in the door edges on three sides. It took a 3/8" recess cabinet hinge.
I created the pulls for the cabinet door by taking two of my Service Dress Uniform buttons and fitting them on turned burl wood dowels. I also fitted it with a burl wood escutcheon and lock.
On the inside of the left door I mounted the locking bolt. This picture also shows the cut recess and support dowels.
On the inside door over the Cognac I found a golf ball marker with The Happy Hooligan moniker stamped in it and used that as a pull.
