Finishing the 119th Tontine Cabinet

I finally got back from the people who laser cut wood two plaques to mount on the left-hand door. One plaque was a history of the Weapon Systems Officer (WSO)program at the 119th, the other a poem written by one of the members. I decided to mount them with thru corner bolts in brass. However, I needed a fancy head, which I didn't know where you could buy, so I made them.
I just needed to sign the cabinet. I used my family Scottish crest which has a fitting military feel. With lights on. Except for hanging in the club, it was done.
I drilled a center hole in the eight bolts, then using metal mending epoxy glued a fancy head tack to the top of each bolt with the tack pin glued down in the drilled hole. I used a brass acorn nut to secure the bolts.
This completed the Tontine cabinet in my shop.I just needed to sign the cabinet. I used my family Scottish crest which has a fitting military feel. With lights on. Except for hanging in the club, it was done.
