Band Saw mounting problem

I purchased another band saw and am having problems with alignment. Vertical adjustment is no problem, however the horizontal adjustment is an issue. Reading the owners manual it says if the horizontal adjustment is an issue refer to the additional alignment sheet.
I didn't get an additional alignment sheet so have no idea how to accomplish the alignment. My other band saw has eccentric tubes that allow for horizontal movement. Is the only solution buy another set of eccentric tubes? If someone has a copy of that "Additional Sheet", please email it to me at

Thanks

If this is the only 'straight' tube mounted SPT, then loosen the two screws that clamp the headrest to the bench tubes. Rotate the headrest(with the BS mounted) until the shafts align.
You will likely have to readjust any offset tube mounted SPT.
Another 'method' is to adjust the set screw that the tie bar rests on. I do not recommend that as that screw is there to eliminate twist of the tubes.

I use a special jig saw with straight tubes that I use for the FWD/AFT (horizontal) alignment. I also loosen the tie bar set screws and have the tie bar locked down to the head rest. Then lightly loosen the headrest bench tube nuts and do the alignment. I tighten the headrest bench tube nuts and then the tie bar set screws. I find this works for all straight tube SPTs after doing this alignment. I use a large rubber hammer to do the alignment on the headrest.

Offset Tubes sounds to me to be the "real fix".
