Sketchup

Here's a good link for those that are interested in designing furniture in Google Sketchup:

I've used Sketchup a few times and really like it. I've got quite a bit more to learn about it, but so far I like what I've worked with. Sure beats using pencils and architect squares on a drawing board. Hope it helps.

It has been a while back that I submitted a model to their library. I saw at least one of the forum members has implemented this Mark V model in planning his shop:

This took longer than I would like to admit, and it's very rudimentary. But the capabilities of the Sketchup tool seem great.

Thanks for the link. I've been playing with the program There's a little bit of learning curve with this as there is with all programs. I really like the 3-D capabilities.
