funerary vessel
Hi Gang
About a week ago a friend's Son in Law passed away suddenly from a heart attack. She asked me if I could turn a vessel for the remains. I have never done such a thing before but she was in tears and I finally relented and told her I would try my best. She formerly lived in Montana and was a turner in her "healthier" years and was also a member of the largest turning groups in Montana. This is what fell out of the lathe.

Re: funerary vessel
I had been avoiding reading this thread because of the topic but I'm glad I snuck a peek because that is some awesome work. I'm sure the family will be very grateful.
