I have completed my restoration of my 10ER I do have some final questions please...Oh, I added a bandsaw to the machine also..I will have a new proper RPM motor tommorrow to go on it.
1. Whats the easiest way to post pictures? The instructions made no sense to me.
2. Anyone got a diagram of the table lock lever assembly? I took it apart and I must not be putting it together correctly, its very loose.
3. Are there supposed to be washers under the 4 bolts holding the main table on? How about the small table?
4. How can I make the the pieces slide on the tubes better. It feels like my locks are not releasing so well maybe. I have cleaned the tubes but it does take some pressure to move them.
5. Table saw blades...What does everybody like? I only have a 7.25 inch dull blade to test with.
Thanks for all the help and info from the forum!
Rob

Washers under the screw heads.
CI is heavy. Have you waxed the tubes?

Host your photos on a web service like photobucket or flickr. Copy the url and paste it between these two tags: [ img][ /img] without the spaces.
Also, a little paste wax made a big difference in how well everything slid on the bars for me.

To post a picture you just click the "Upload attachment" link below the "Submit" button on the Post a reply page. It will bring up a Browse button below the "Upload attachment" link. Click on that and go to the location of your picture and click on your picture and then click on the "Add the file" button.
There are size limits however. The file, be it picture or anything else must be less than 2 MB in size. If it is a picture there is also a pixel limit even if the picture is under 2 MB. I don't remember the limit but when you click the "Add the file" button the screen will scroll to the top of the page. If there was an error it will tell you that it was either file size or pixel limit. The error message is not obvious since it is in the same font and color as the rest of the page.
Also, if the file was successfully added the file name will appear down at the bottom where you added it in the first place. Then just click "Submit" or repeat for more files/pictures.
I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager to resize the pictures to 1024 X 768 and put them in separate directory prior to upload so I don't overwrite the original. It only takes a few seconds.
