Can anyone vouch for the quality of this set? I can only find very mixed reviews on Amazon.

I will. At least for now.
Just finished installing a set on my cheaply acquired wood working table. I'd say the table weighs about 100# but rolls around easily. Not sure I'd feel as comfortable with a table in the 200# range.
The install is simple. Predrill the holes in the legs. I could not set them as low as the instructions showed. Up about 1/8" from recommended due to table leg constriction. I used a drill driver to install the stock screws, which were at least 1 1/2". I think the screws are adequate for the job, but some reviewers had misgivings. Bolt on the wheels.

The only tricky part is having enough clearance for the bottom holes, because I used a power drill driver which had a large head. Leave the bit extended more than you normally would to get the depth and use a longer shank bit driver.

How they will hold up in the long run, I cannot yet answer.

Hope that helps.

Be well,
Ben

I paid a few bucks more last month when another store had them on sale.
