I stopped in at the Lowe's today and met Mike Young for the second time in about 35 years. :D

He had a couple guys checking things out and I nearly burst at the seams trying to say how great the 7 was compared to the V. He and I talked for a couple hours about Shopsmith corporate both good and frustrating. His inside knowledge was very valuable.

He is pushing corporate for the return of classes!! :p

We came to the conclusion he had sold me my V 500 in Missoula nearly 35 years back.

I told him about writing the woodcrafter magazine blurb (which had not heard about), and later in the day took him a few copies of the scan.

Mike has to be one of finest ambassadors for Shopsmith.

Have him show you his second bike!!! Wow!! :D

Be well,
Ben
