Keep you shop floor uncluttered! It's amazing how much debris accumulates on a shop floor. I always vow to clean up when done for the night, but seldom do. Tonight all projects got put on hold until it's safe to walk for one corner to another. I feel better (and safer) already, and I can't believe the things I've found long lost, now safe where they belong!

It's strange how trips to the hardware store can be lessened after cleaning. And my pencil cup gets fuller, too.

One advantage of the DC3300 is it will not suck up heavier 'parts' while snatching the debris. A dust deputy in line is de rigor here(on those rare occasions when utilized) .

Try not to suck up heavier items in the DC3000. The turbine blade in the DC is made of plastic. Those heavier items, when sucked into the DC do "not nice things" to that plastic blade.

It is not cheap, either.

You mean like a knob from the bandsaw cover laying on the table your sucking sawdust off of? No FUN retrieving that from the bag. It wasn't till much later, when cleaning the dust off the top of the fan housing, I found a chunk of plastic.

Yeah! Just like that. I got my first lesson not with a knob but something just as destructive. I sucked up a knot of wood. What an awful noise that makes when it meets the whirling disk.
