What is this Special Purpose Tool?

I am trying to upload a photo, but I've seen this SPT in photographs before. It mounts like a bandsaw or any other SPT with two tubes on the base. But for all the world it looks like a large Motorguard filter you might use on a compressor.
Here's a link to a CList ad showing it sitting on the ground. No amount of searching on ebay or for old catalogs helped. Any ideas?

Wow, thanks Ron. Though it looked like an air filter I also thought it might be a pump, but had no idea there was a painting attachment.
So what else did Magna make? I'd like to see a uranium enrichment centrifuge SPT or, very handy in a drought, maybe a water well drilling rig SPT?

How's this for starters?

Now somewhere around here, there's a thread about DIY chicken-plucking machines ...

That's awesome. I missed the ice cream maker the first time I looked. Totally digging the unguarded belt. Looking at that photo raises the question "What could possibly go wrong?"
My wife complains that when she thinks about ice cream her butt gets cold, because it was her job as a little girl to sit on the lid to keep it in place. There's No Way she can argue about getting a second SS once she sees this picture!!

I'm sure glad rpd had the answer because I laid awake last night wondering about it.
The other attachments in the picture are neat, too. I especially covet the Ford..'49?

Dennis, did the Model 10 REALLY support SPTs?
One of mine does, only because I've got a MkV 500
headrest adapted to it. I know about the A and B
adapters, but for over $100, for a pound of aluminum?
I'm NOT that rich. (My headrest was $10 or 15, shipped!)
