Yes, Joe! Real good video! Especially the first half about making and assembling the pieces. Excellent use of a disk sander jig.

Lots of fine detail work but worth the effort for the finished product! I am guessing that I would make more than a couple assembly errors along the way :eek: :rolleyes: , but may give it a try later this summer.

That looks like way to much work for me. Yes the results are nice, but all the cutting, sanding, gluing, gluing, gluing.....

I really did like the disk sander tool. I might make one of those for other purposes.

It is nice when someone shares a talent they have and you can get a feel for the efforts needed to turn that sort of pen. And thanks for sharing it here so we can appreciate it too.

I decided to try my hand at this. Wood is Walnut, Pecan, and Bubinga. Had to make a couple of jigs.

Very tedious, will probably ruin the whole "Ka-bob" when trying to turn it.

Have never tried my hand at making a pen.

Looks like you have a good start. I have not tried it yet.
