Today in the shop (hanging out with the tools)

I reconfigured some of my shop and am now just catching up on some of the details that needed to be done. It is a moving target trying to find places for thing only to have new additions or changes in what you want where.
Last year I built a shelf to hold the part cabinets I have. The sides of cabinet were available storage space so I had planned on taking advantage of that someday. Today was someday, well a start anyway.
I'll just post one picture of it and let you imagine the rest for now. It's late and I'm tired so that is the best I can do for now.
The main things I needed was a place for my 520 rip fence and for both of the miter gauges that I use most often. I also wanted a little catch all container for pencils and the like. This does all of that. The tray is magnetic and can be moved around when needed and the whole board is on a cleat so it can be emptied and moved as well.
Those with keen eyes might detect other holes in the backboard, you can chalk them up to this be re-purposed wood that started life as something totally different.
