How do I turn off spell check on the board? It is extremely annoying for people who know how to spell.

I don't know how but for people who know how to spell there should be no reason to get annoyed. No foul - no penalty.

Now constantly being told that you have a spelling deficiency, well.....

I get annoyed because each time I type Shopsmith, it pukes all over itself.

I like Spell Check because even though my spelling is good, my typing is terrible. I do agree about Shopsmith, though.

Gary if you right click he high lighted word you should get a dialogue box and then you click the "learn" instruction and the dictionary will add the word and your problem will probably go away.

Thanks. Now I can type Shopsmith and not have that mess. You would think that a Shopsmith dictionary would be smart enough to recognize that.

So, right click on the "misspelled" word and select "Add to the Dictionary". Problem solved.

That is exactly why I like spell checking. It seems when I hunt and peck my brain is one letter ahead of my fingers.
