Today in the yard

Reible is always posting great pictures of animals and things in his yard. Today is was out and about 20 feet from the bird feeders when all of sudden about 20 birds showed up. Cardinals, woodpeckers, finches and doves. I tried to sneak away to get my IPAD to take some pictures. Of course by the time I got back the birds were all gone. So I took a picture of this flower I have been trying to identify. I grows on a straight woody vine.
Any ideas?

I hope the twisted vine in the background does not confuse you. That is confederate jasmine growing on the fence.

They are my neighbors on his fence. But they grow over to my side and bloom. Neighbor is beside himself that the blooms are all on my side :D He wasn't sure what they are and I could not figure what they were. Thanks to those that id'ed them for me!

Well Ed, After careful study... It appears to be some kind of a yellow flower. :)
Not much help but then we are a few zones apart.
Just enjoy them and smirk at your neighbor as you walk past them. :D
