Is attaching a 30 sec video clip the same as attaching a photo? Are there restrictions?

You may 'attach' a link to youtube.

"Junk" does build up on the anode as does other junk precipitate out. A quick look at the anode will reveal if it is time to scrape it off.

Most likely that take over a day or two to build up(depending upon surface area of the electrodes).

The anode does not need to be replaced until it starts falling apart.

P.S. the precipitate will eventually sink to the bottom.

In that thread you will see my solution to cleaning off the crud but yes you will need to dump the tank and put fresh solution in from time to time.

Thanks Ed & JPG. I'm having fun with electrolysis rust removal. I've tried it before on some small parts but this time I'm working on the leg pans. These wernt the worst I've seen but its the easiest rust removal in the world.

FWIW, it also strips paint.
