Lathe Problem After GFCI Trip

Hi all. New to this forum after being a long time reader.
I pickup up a PSI Penpal pen making lathe: https://www.pennstateind.com/store/PENPAL.html
I plugged it in and turned it on for the first time and it tripped the GFCI outlet it was downline from. Since then it will not turn on.
The switch and the pot are still good and I'm seeing the correct AC current. But there's now no DC current coming off the circuit board and there's no fuse or reset switch of any kind.
Ideas? Send it back?
