In some of out recent communications you made the point that the Way Tubes bores (in the end castings) were dissimilar. When I saw what is depicted in the next to shots I thought about that.

One shows that sign resting on the Way Tubes and the other is with the sign resting on the flats. Check the laser beam in the two with reference to the letters on the sign.

'flats'???? 'Top' surface?

I "think" that I would have automatically assumed that was the case.
I would also assume that the machined bores for extension table and attachment mounts would be better aligned with the way tubes (90 degrees perpendicular) than the casting surfaces.
Of course I may be assuming wrong...
