Shopsmith Icon for desktop

Post by bashfulbob »

HI All

I am looking forward to this forum.

I was just wondering, since a user can create a desktop icon shortcut to the home page by right clicking on the home page and selecting create shortcut, if the shortcut icon should be a picture of the shopsmith or something related to shopsmith such as their logo? What is put on the desktop now is a big blue e (the default icon for IE).

If you think that would be nice you might want to post a message to bfolkerth.

Bob, if you use the default for icon, it will be the Shopsmith Icon only.....If you book mark the page in your favorites and then drag the address to your desktop, it will be the generic icon with the shopsmith site page name.....Is this clear?

Hi Dick
Thanks and I tried it and to no advail. I saved it as a book mark and dragged that book mark to my desk top and it just showed the piece of paper with the big blue e as an icon.
