Without trying to resurrect the GEICO commercial with the Hump Day Camel asking What Day It Is, I offer Wednesday October 21, 2015 for your nostalgic reminder of what day it is.

News says it is Back to the Future day. This was the date dialed into the Back To the Future Time Machine.
News then listed the things the movie showed that have come true. TV on walls, 3D movies, Computer tablets, and some others.

Never watched the movie so I'm Just reporting what was on the news

There is a pending irony that could play out tonight. In the movie it was learned that the Cubs won the World Series.

Tonight they play the Mets in game 4, behind 3 games to 0. How ironic would it be for the Cubs to lose their chance to go to the World Series on the very date in history the movie had first suggested they would win the series that year?

If they win tonight, their hopes are still alive, but they would have to win all 4 remaining games to make it there, then they would still have to win the series.

Any Cubs fans out there? That group of sports fans is perhaps as loyal to the brand as we Shopsmith owners.
