It sure is amazing how young Norm looks and how much he used the Shopsmith back then. I've heard he stopped using Shopsmith because they wouldn't pay up. It's called embedded advertising today and you see it all the time if you pay attention to it. I think it would have been an excellent investment for Shopsmith.
But I do admire Norm and I get inspired when I see how much he was able to accomplish with his Shopsmith, using it like most of us do, along with other tools.
