Attention seniors and military (vets, reserve and active)

Taco Bueno has a special every Thursday: Party Tacos ($1.09) for 49 cents. If you are a senior you get a 10% discount. If you are a veteran, reserve or active you get a 20% discount. I discovered this when I was there and had a red USMC cap on. The manager on duty told me that I got a 20% discount. Every time I go if he takes my order he gives me both discounts. Each week I get 12 tacos ($4.45), lots of condiments (pico de gallo, onions, salsa, etc.), take them home and dismantle the tacos by using a fork to scrape out the lettuce, onion and cheese and then put more shredded cheese over the meat. I re-wrap most for later and put what I want in a toaster oven, crisp the shells and melt the cheese and then refill them with condiments and lettuce and voila – I have a $2.00 taco. Not bad. Everything else gets the cold treatment until wanted.
